Round-table conference of SMSUH Discussion society concerning the quality of higher education in Russia was conducted on November,18 in SMSUH.Discussion of the students pressing issues -was very hot.

Students of SMSUH faculty of journalism traditionally celebrated the beginning of the new academic year in the Central Journalist House.
The guests gathered in a small, but cozy concert hall and were waiting impatiently for the celebration to begin.
Final of debate tournament
Final of the universitywide debate tournament will take place on June 21 at 11 a.m. in the Taganka building (room 200). The Institute of politics, law and social development team meets the team of Journalism Faculty. Topic : “Fall of the Soviet Union: tragedy or liberation?”

“The most interesting time for higher education” – this was the phrase to open the press conference of Sholokhov MSU for the Humanitites in RIA Novosti. Our University presents its own academic works, which have no analogues in Russia.
Meeting with Nikolai Valuev
The meeting with a famous sportsman, TV-presenter, State Duma deputy, lawyer Nikolai Valuev took place in SMSUH on March 14, 2013. This meeting was organized by the Politics, Law and Social Development Institution by the agency of Russian juridical club.
Israel Universities: without education there is no culture
Guests from the East arrived to SMSUH Faculty of Journalism on February 26: the First Secretary of the Embassy of Israel Shlomo Voskobojnik and the lecturer of the Open University of Israel Sophia Kocer. The topic of the conversation was higher education in Israel. The main thesis which was the crucial element of the whole discussion was devised at the beginning of the lecture and was the following: “Without education there is no culture”.

We, new students of SMSUH arrived at the start point of our marches, at the Alexandrovsky Sad Station. We must gather near Lenin Library, next to the Dostoevsky monument. -We are given flags and badges and move on. At first, we go to hit or miss, the faculties are mixed, and we’ve got one big crowd of the students of SMSUH. We make up our -chants: «I can do everything — I’m a student of SMSUH,» » The great, -the powerful and the best, SMSUH, SMSUH».
