GeNSLing 2016
The 4th Conference in General, Nordic and Slavic linguistics for graduate and doctoral students(GeNSLing 2016) will take place October 12-14, 2016 at Moscow State Pedagogical University and Institute of Linguistics, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow.
GeNSLing 2016 conference is organized as a session of the “Typology of Morphosyntactic Parameters 2015” conference (TMP 2015). GeNSLing welcomes the submission of abstracts focussing on the problems of Germanic and Slavic linguistics as well as discussing various descriptive and theoretical issues.

On January 27, 2016 Dr. Diego Leite de Oliveira (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) will participate in the Seminar for Applied and Theoretical Linguistics of Institute for Modern Linguistic Research where he will give a talk “Constructions with the element ETO as identification constructions: aspects of form and content” (Ru. «Конструкции с элементом ЭТО как конструкции идентификации: аспекты их плана выражения и плана содержания»).
MA- and PhD-student are recommended to attend the seminar.

May 28 – 30, 2015 — at the Russian Cultural Centre in Budapest there was held the event «Sholokhov Spring» as part of the Year of Literature celebrated in Russia , to mark the 110th anniversary of the great Russian writer and Nobel Prize winner Mikhail Sholokhov.
