Course of Danish by Elena Lorentzen
The students of Master’s programs «General and typological Linguistics» and «General and computational Linguistics» will take a review course in Danish. The lectures will be held at the IMLR on April 20-25. The course named «The Danish language in comparative and typological aspects» will be read by Elena Lorentzen, candidate of Philological Sciences, associate professor at University of Copenhagen. The lectures will take place at the SMSUH building in Tagansky disctrict, Room 200, at 4:00-7:10 PM on April 20, 22 and 24- at 12:00-2:10 PM on April 25.

A collection of articles «Typology of Morphosyntactic Parameters» has been published. It consists of the articles by the participants of international conferences «Typology of Morphosyntactic Parameters 2014» and «GenSLing 2014», held at SMSUH on October 15-17 2014. Meeting with the legendary translator Pavel Ruslanovich Palazhchenko
On February, 19 students and teachers of MSUH of M. A. Sholokhov met the legendary translator Pavel Ruslanovich Palazhchenko. He is author of the eminent book «My unsystematic Dictionary» and a set of other works necessary for the translator in his professional activity.

A lecture of Sergey Anatolyevich Toymentsev, professor from Rutgers University (New Jersey) and winner of — Russian Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Technology`s award, took place on March 11. The subject matter discussed was «The Ways In &- Ways Out of the Language-Power Prison-House: Political Aspects of Linguo-Centrism in Continental Philosophy».
New Master'-s programs 2015
IMLR is offering two Master’s programs in 2015:
«Computational Linguistics and formal language models» (2015-2017), supervisor Elena Kozerenko (10 state-funded places).
«General and typological Linguistics» (2015-2017), supervisor Ekaterina Lyutikova (10 state-funded places).

Applications will be accepted from June 19 till August 14 2015. Entrance trials include a written test and an interview.
«A+» students’ internship of North Caucasus forum for youth «Mashook»
The days of internship for classman’s participants of this year’s forum for youth «Mashook» come to an end. The continuous event was orginized by Sholohkov Moscow State University For The Humanities for participants that scored the highest points within the educational program that was executed by our university’s staff during «Mashook».
