TMP and GenSLing 2015 deadline extension
The 5th thematic conference of the series «Typology of morphosyntactic parameters» and the 3rd conference for General, Scandinavic and Slavic linguistics (GenSLing) for students and postgraduates will be held in Moscow at the SMSUH and the Institute of Linguistics of the RAS on October 14-16, 2015.
The deadline for TMP applicants has been extended to June 29, 2015.
The deadline for GenSLing applicants has been extended to June 21, 2015.

New publication by P.M. Arkadyev
A new book by the IMLR member P.M. Arkadyev called «Areal typology of the prefixal perfective (based on the data of European and Caucasian languages)» has been published under the project RFH 14-04-00580 «Interaction of Grammar Mechanisms in World’s Languages».
IMLR Master programs presentation
The presentation of IMLR Master programs «General and typological linguistics» (supervisor E.A. Lyutikova) and «Computational linguistics and formal language models» (supervisor E.B. Kozerenko) is to take place on May 28 at 2 PM. This event will help you learn about the new research trends in modern linguistics and the career perspectives in this field, the structure of the educational process and the entrance trials. You will get an opportunity to communicate with the lecturers as well as to listen to the students’ and graduates’ feedback about these programs.

June 4, 2015 Sholokhov University hosted the Academic Talk and Workshop delivered by Ph.D. in Political Science, Professor in Social Psychology Nadezhda K. May 20, 2015 Sholokhov University hosted the Scientific Seminar «Post-modern Political Discourse and its Deconstruction: B. Obama on the Armenian Genocide in 1915”. The Seminar was held as part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide in 1915.
