Varlam Borisivich Kashelava, the chief executive of the Investing Company “SIGMA.Innovations”, will make a report on “Conceptual framework of the theory of complex systems”. The Theory of the Complex Systems (TCS) is considered to be a general science between all the disciplines. It can be useful not only for the representatives of the different disciplines, but also it can help to combine all the disciplines for the purpose of solving complicated science problems. But TCS will have a real importance in the science sphere only if it can be successfully applied to the objects of any kind and be useful for the investigation immaterial and almost virtual objects. —

This report presents a related set of basic terms: element, structure, system, plane system, hierarchical system, complex system, emergent properties etc. It is shown how these terms are related to each other. The validity and usefulness of the conceptual framework is discussed and illustrated with various examples. —
