Paralympic fencers under the volunteers’ wing of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities

From 9 to 11 December at Universal sports and entertainment complex Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism (SCOLIPE) the -Open cup of Moscow Fencing on wheelchairs was held. —

At this time not only volunteers but the volunteer coaches took part in the organization. The coaches themselves felt all the difficulties and nuances of the work.

The volunteers had a lot of work in those days. They mounted wheelchairs to special sites and helped the athletes to wear protective clothing.
Competitions were held in three categories. Sportsmen and sportswomen will go to Vancouver to the Paralympics. Volunteers of Paralympic volunteer center helped sportsmen to achieve -the highest results.
We believe that volunteers and coaches of -volunteers who worked at the Cup of Fencing, gained the experience,which they necessarily will apply to the organization of the Paralympic Games in Sochi 2014.
