“Know yourself! Know the world!” on the 26th of November camp councelors and the profession fair

On the 26th of November “The profession fair” in the network of the event “The last school autumn” started in the “Vykhino” building. This is the first serious event for camp councelors of such a scale. Young people have been getting training for a month and a half and they got already down to such a serious business! It is the first possibility for them to show in practice their knowledge.

“The profession fair” is 12 professions that is 12 faculties of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities. -Camp councelors chose for the demonstration of professions the interaction “The profession fair” in order to show interesting world of professions to tenth-year and eleventh-year pupils. We would like that children could touch, play, dance and create the collage of their team as the scope of the University makes it possible!

10 a.m. – the work is in full swing, profession stations are constructed with different names e.g. “Fantastic group of four”, “Star mates”, “220V”. But the main station was “You are the professional” created by students who were camp counselors -from other universities. Here results of the whole event were summed up and pupils got the token “Owl”, a sign of wisdom, for the active participation. The school of camp counselors has decided to spend not just a fair, but to make groups from schoolboys headed by the leader of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities, with the group name and the motto.

There were 8 groups:

● “Medical design” – boys and girls from Medical college and designers, the motto was “Our work is not simple! We always save everybody!”, the leader was a first-year student Elizabeth Konopchenko of Philological faculty

● “Perfumers” – the motto was “different strokes for different folks”, the leader was Yana Pavlova of Moscow Institute of physical education and sport

● “Laces” all the pupils of Gymnasium №20 were in sneakers that’s why the motto was “we can’t be untied”, the leader was a first-year student Elena Tivashova of Pedagogical faculty

● “Goddesses” consisted only of girls, the leader was a first-year student Aleftina Agafonova of Pedagogical faculty

● “Endlessness” – the motto was “The endlessness is not a limit”, the school №424 and №8, the leader was a first-year student of Pedagogical faculty Anastasia Nikishina

● “Oktariny”- the motto was “the seventh colour of the life”, the school №572 and №1420, the leader was a first-year student Ksenia Tulskaya

● “The elusive ” – the motto was “since we are together we are invincible”, school №462, the leader was a second-year student of faculty of organization of the work with youth Nastya Malinovskaya

At 12.30 we opened successfully our fair. 5 minutes were given for every station then pupils passed to the next one. Pupils knew that there was a star team on Culture and Music Arts faculty faculty: Nikolay Baskov and Valeriy Syutkin, also they knew why the profession of philologist is interesting, what the knowledge of psychology gives, why creative students study on Faculty of design and visual arts, knew the secret how to become the best of the best on the faculty of organization of the work with youth and many other different useful things.

That is how the school of camp counselors -has told us quickly and brightly about what we are taught -in our University and where it is possible to show your worth.

The culmination of “Profession fair” was the choice of the best station according to pupils’ point of view. You won’t believe but pupils voted for the station of Faculty of Law “Fantastic group of four”. Our congratulations!
