From 21 to 23 November in the boarding house of Moscow «Solnechnaya polyana» a meeting for volunteers and organizers of volunteer groups took place. The representatives of the Volunteer center Sochi 2014 who are the students of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities took part in an educational program.

The task of prime importance was to understand the main idea of -the concept of “volunteer”. This issue is brought for a round table discussion. In the dialogue participants came to a common understanding of the personality and mission of the volunteer. Representatives of Moscow voluntary organizations were divided into working groups, so that -in the small teams they deeply examined the existing problems and strategy of development in one of the areas of volunteer activity: «Donation», «Veterans», «Social services», «Ecology», «Healthy way of life». Each working group prepared a presentation on the chosen direction, and presented it to all participants. The specific project proposals in different areas of voluntary activity were the one of the main result of this event. In addition, the participants of the meeting agreed about the further cooperation. The organizers of the educational volunteer departure are sure that only by uniting volunteer organizations -we can solve existing social problems and promote the idea of volunteerism in the community.
