Results of the Setup Seminar Between Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities and the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee

— — — 18 — 19 April 2011 the setup seminar on creating a center to attract volunteers to participate in organizing and holding the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi was held on the basis of SMSUH.

The aim of the seminar was the necessity to organize and hold a range of actions to prepare the volunteer center of SMSUH , to the opening on May 14, 2011.
In accordance with the stated purpose of the seminar the problems for the start of the project on the organizing of the volunteer movement in SMSUH were being solved, the acquaintance of the representatives of the student active group, the lecturers and the employees of SMSUH with the principles of organizing and holding the Olympic and Paralympic Games- expectations FND Organizing Committee from the — volunteers in a specific functional direction, the general plan of training volunteers till February 7, 2014, resource requirements, which must be allocated to SMSUH for — implementation of the plan and meet the expectations of FND-

The guests of the seminar were Lopukhin Anton Mikhailovich, the head of — the department for work with the volunteers of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization — «Organizing Committee «Sochi2014»- Korolkova Ekaterina Andreyevna, a senior manager of administration for work with the volunteers of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization «Organizing Committee» Sochi2014, Derman, Dmitry, a manager of the department for work with the volunteers of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization — «Organizing Committee «Sochi2014″, Butyrnov Alexander, Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization » Organizing Committee «Sochi2014, Bukharov Eugeniy Alexandrovich – director of the integration and coordination department of the Paralympic Games, Marina Yurevna Baryshnikova, director of projects in higher education NFPK, Musarsky Anton Marcovich, specialist of the projects of higher education NFPK as well as the teachers and the students of RSSU.

The rector of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities greeted the participants and noted that the opening of the volunteer center is a great honor for our University. In addition, it was mentioned that the volunteer work today for our students is a part of their daily lives.
A.S. Ognev, as a vice-rector in charge, the vice-rector on — educational work and public affairs with government organizations, made a speech. He marked that the implementation of the tasks of civil education and patriotic upbringing of youth is primarily associated with the organization of the volunteer youth activities.

An important outcome of the seminar was to refine the work plan of the volunteer center for the period February 2011 — February 2012 taking into account the main priorities of the Organizing Committee and holding the coordination of activity for the preparation of the agreement for cooperation with the Organizing Committee.
The Volunteer Center of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities starts — its work on May 14, 201. Its opening will be accompanied by a grand event on the Red Square in the style of «flash mob».
