Students’ Life

There is a successfull Center of Cultural and Educational Work in our University. Vocal, choreographic and other study groups welcome anybody who wants to realize his/her own creative potential.

Every year beauty contest “Miss MSUH”, festival “Student Spring”, Club of the Merry and Inventive and many other events take place in the University. Our students successfully take part in citywide events, like “Parade of Moscow Studentship”, “Festos”, “Canvas of Hope”, “Way to Stars”, “Miss Moscow”, “City Day”.

Annualy festivals of faculties take place in Sholokhov State University for the Humanities. During one week each faculty demonstrates its scientific schools, academic achievements, talents and creativity in close connection with prospects for their professions in further development of society.

Since 2009 the Center of Youth Programs works in the University.
The Center welcomes all students to take part in work on of the following directions:
— volunteerism
— school of youth leaders
— social project planning

In 2011 the University opened the Training Center for Volunteers, who are going to support the Olympic and Special Olympic Games in Sochi-2014. And now any student of our University can go to the Olympic games of 2014 as a volunteer.

The University has different sports departments: of volleyball, basketball, football, hand-to-hand fighting, aerobics, swimming, hiking, skiing. During winter and summer vacation there are aducational-training camps on the Altai, the Tien Shan, on Lake Seliger. We have an open skiing lodge.
