S.N.Glazachev has created the scientific school that develops ecological culture: conceptually theoretical principles, pedagogical and sociocultural technologies -have been worked out, conferences are regularly held, collected works, journals, monographies, textbooks are published. He has published over 300 works on the problems of Geography, Ecology, Pedagogics, among them there are 14 monographies, textbooks, manuals on Social Ecology, Methodology of Ecology and Ecological Culture for schools and universities. —

The organizing core of -the scientific school is the SEC TEKO, which has been uniting the scholars of different fields and guidelines for over 15 years. Among these specialists there are teachers, sociologists, psychologists, geographers, medical workers, biologists and designers. Such diversification is to match the essence of ecological culture, as it is varied, complicated and demands a thorough study. The membership of the group changes according to the leading guidelines and order. Theoretical ideas and publications of the -scientific school -leaders are acknowledged by scholars and pedagogical community: the number of quotations by close problem field researchers is high (theses, articles, monographies)- the reviews are published in Russian and foreign press. -The international project to publish a book series “The World Ecological Culture” (Russia plus one foreign country algorythm) is unique. 7 editions have already been published together with Germany, Yugoslavia, Belarus, Serbia, Kazakhstan, counting the general volume of over 400 printed sheets (S.N.Glazachev is the editor-in-chief). The project succeeds in the tolerance problem research: “The World Culture: the View from inside Russia”. —
