On November 8, 2011 Ufa branch of SMSUH held a scientific seminar for teachers of technology from Ufa «Realization the FSES requirement of general education in teaching the subject» Technology «. The main idea of the scientific-practical seminar was the fact that today school is in need of a new teacher in terms of innovative development of the country. He should be not only professional and competent, but above all he should have a new way of thinking, possess new technology and he should be ready for the further development of innovative practices in education. Actual issues in the seminar were those of the comparative analysis of the educational standards of the old and new generations, those of the requirements for the preparation of the modern working programs, those of the professional self-examination of teacher. Two master classes have been conducted within the requirements of the FSES of elementary general education. They are «Ceramics,» under the supervision of the head of the department of Design, Arts and Technology, Ph.D., Assoc. E A Saveleva and «Floristry» under the supervision of senior teacher T. P Baldova.

The seminar was held in a businesslike and friendly atmosphere. The participants said that this event was very useful and they wanted to continue the holding of such scientific and practical seminars that promote the introduction of the FSES of initial general education.
