-Design Food

Design of food is their treatment in terms of aesthetic, functional and cultural factors. We love popular products not only for their taste but also for the symbolism. They carry a certain connotation, have a hidden meaning.

At the moment, the mythical beginning of the food takes precedence over logic. When we eat, the main thing for us is that we absorb a myth: the health, beauty, and connection with nature, a myth that I’m paying for a reasonable price for this product, the myth that avoiding the use of meat and other animal products I protect the environment as well as consume less energy-intensive products, and so on.

Most of these myths turn out — to be false or unproven. There is also the opposite logical approach, however, as would be unfortunate as it may sound, nobody wants to abandon the irrational approach.

Therefore, when we design food products, we continue to rely not only on rational logical factors, but primarily on irrational factors. Based on myths and symbols, the food was and remains the subject of our senses.
