“Charming Darling…”

A special fair “Ladya”, has been realized since 2001 by the Association “Russian national artistic trades” under the patronage of Moscow Government and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The events devoted to the day of the Faculty of fine and visual arts of SMSUH took place at the 10th All-Russian Fair “Ladya–2011. A spring fantasy” on the 18th of March.
The central exposition was represented by the educational project the main purpose of which was to give young generation access to the national culture by means of decorative and applied arts. — — The showing of folk costumes and objects of fine and visual arts made by the pedagogical staff and prepared by the students as a graduation thesis aroused a great lively audience’s interest.
Bright costumes reflected the national zest of every corner of our country! The music was so touching and so near our hearts! All that turned the showing into the real performance with an intricate song storyline. Everything that we could see: wedding kokoshniks of surpassing beauty, various headdresses embroidered in gold, shawls decorated by flower prints, homespun woolen skirts, sarafans, sleeveless jackets and wide belts was so familiar and at the same time unusual and fascinating.
Project directors: the dean of the faculty of fine and visual arts Mosina V.R., professors: Zhelezkin R.N., Korneeva E.N., Fedotova L.V., Maksimova N.V., Gavricheva A.N.
The 10th All-Russian Fair “Ladya–2011. A spring fantasy” is holding from the 16th to the 20th of March 2011 at the exhibition hall №3 of the Central Exhibition Complex “Expo”.
