International conference UNESCO in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (September, 8-12 2013)

SMSUH delegation took part in the proceedings of the International conference “Internet and sociocultural transformations in the information-oriented society” which took place in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on September, 8-11 2013. The conference was held within a framework of the Russian presidency in the intergovernmental council of UNESCO program “Information for everybody” (http://www.ifapcom.ru/) -with the support of Russian Culture Ministry, Federal Press and Mass Communication Agency, Sakhalin Oblast Government, UNESCO (http://www.unesco.org) and UNESCO -Commission.

SMSUH rector Vladimir Dmitrievich Nechaev headed the work of section “Internet as a sociocultural phenomenon” and took part in preparing the resulting document -of the Conference as an expert.
