Triumph of the Faculty of Ecology and Natural Sciences:our student is grant-holder of Vernadskiy Foundation!

According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation from June 5 in Russia was installed a holiday — The Day of the ecologist. Russian ecologists holiday concurs with a major international environmental event — the World Environment Day.

This day in State Geological Museum of the VI Vernadsky RAS was a solemn rewarding of grand-holders of fund named after V.I. Vernadsky. This important direction of the Fund supports talented and energetic young people. Competition Commission Foundation holds an annual review of the candidates nominated by the universities. This year’s competition attracted more than a hundred of students from 36 universities. Students of the Faculty of Ecology and Natural Sciences for the first time participated in the competition. On the basis of the report of competitive commission of -environmental non-governmental Foundation named after V.I. Vernadsky grant was awarded to a student of 3rd year of our faculty Risuhin Daria! Dasha’s victory is the triumph and recognition of the Department of Environmental and Natural Sciences of SMSUH as a professional community of ecologists.

Three years of study at the University Risuhin Daria showed herself as a girl with a wide range of interests and a rich baggage of theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply them in practice. She is an A-student, gets an increased scholarship and is the leader of many projects at the faculty.

Research interests of Risuhin D.A. are focused on the problems of environmental education, environmental review and audit. She is the organizer and active participant in environmental education projects: «Global Village» and the Summer School of Science and Education «Living in harmony with nature.»

Since 2011 she is a volunteer for «Volunteer Center of Sochi 2014», the 2013 Universiade in Kazan, took part in the Olympic torch relay. Dasha has excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills, she is a «teem-leader» of her team. In March 2014 she participated -in the Paralympic Games in Sochi -as a volunteer.
