The Report about the Parade of Students

Everybody, stay on your places, -students are coming!

We, new students of SMSUH arrived at the start point of our marches, at the Alexandrovsky Sad Station. We must gather near Lenin Library, next to the Dostoevsky monument. -We are given flags and badges and move on. At first, we go to hit or miss, the faculties are mixed, and we’ve got one big crowd of the students of SMSUH. We make up our -chants: «I can do everything — I’m a student of SMSUH,» » The great, -the powerful and the best, SMSUH, SMSUH».We come up to the Bolotnaya Square, -where we make the first stop. We form a column and move on to waterfront. We can assess the extent of the situation only right now. (over 40,000 students).

Here is ceremonial beginning, we can hear the sound and watch a live transmission. Rectors of all universities go up to the stage, students -oath, and then they sing the hymn.

Organizers tell us that it is time to move on. -After a while we are captured by cameras. On the way we go to fast-dining restaurant. The strongest of us get to Gorky Park, where the famous singers are going to give a concert. The concert ends at ten o’clock. We’re tired, but happy and we are going to lie on the traveling rug. —
