On the 12th of March 2012 at Moscow Leisure and Youth Creativity Center “Rossiya” a meeting of Volunteer Center SMSUH officers with leaders of public organizations, supporting people with disabilities was held.

The goals of this meeting were to define areas of joint cooperation in the sphere of a socialization of young disabled people, to develop a methodological framework for a volunteer training, related to an interaction with people with disabilities of different categories, to facilitate entering people with reduced capabilities to the Olympic and Paralympic volunteer community.

The main concept of this meeting was based on the idea that every person can be a Sochi-2014 volunteer, because there are only two restrictions, concerning the work at Olympic and Paralympic Games, such as the competence in the English language and the age. There are no restrictions in health. -During the working meeting, it has been decided to start up a joint Volunteer School at the Center “Rossiya”, where disabled people will be able to complete training and to work as a volunteer coach.

Volunteer Center SMSUH invites everyone to work as volunteers at Olympic and Paralympic Games-2014.
