Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities is the Official Partner of the First Federal Electronic Democracy Congress

On the 17-19th May in the Russian State Library the senior representatives of the Federal and Regional authorities in the sphere of science and education, the officials of the non-commercial and religious organizations, the representatives of the politic parties of 57 subjects of the Russian Federation and the officials of Germany, Japan, Ukraine etc. took part in the First Federal Electronic Democracy Congress. The organization of this official action was based on the volunteer work of the students of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities. —

The volunteers worked as stuff at the congress, meeting the Mass-Media representatives and making coffee-breaks for the participants of the action.

The purposes of this Congress are: working out recommendations for implementation of state policy in the development of the electronic democracy- discussing the mechanisms of the implementation electronic democracy in the activities of federal, regional and municipal government. This conference was shown on-line in the Internet. —

The rector of -Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities V.D. Nechaev took part in the second plenary session, which was devoted to the improvement of public administration based on the electronic democracy tools. He made a presentation devoted to “The Internet and the Policy in the modern world is the new wave in the social investigations”. —
