Sergey Belokonev, the head of The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), emphasized the significance of the Convention: «Our goal is to draw the attention of society to the national science development and to help authors to carry out their projects». There is a fund worth 4 million rubles created for these particular purposes. Every winner of Zvorykinsky’s project gets one million rubles. —

Alexander Chachava, the LETA Group president and the leading partner of LETA Capital, said the event would lend a weighty contribution to the development of the scientific-technical creativity in Russia.

Due to the cooperation with the western colleagues there are currently about 100 socially relevant projects turned into reality.

During the press conference it has become clear that organizers of the All-Russia youth innovation convention mean to focus not only on engineering designs, but also on the development of biotechnology and biochemistry. For example, one nominee to win is the special device which can find the predisposition to oncological diseases by examining one drop of blood.

In the end of the conference Sergey Belokonev added that similar projects would open young talents and help Russia to take over the leadership in the field of innovative technology.
