Across Russia, the «Russian Reporter»

… It would take you a 4 hours flight to get from Moscow to Novosibirsk. Plus three hour of time difference. The same Turkey and Egypt – but -the -half times closer. But at the outlet you won’t see palm trees, the sea and the sun, but snow and frost …

So, what could make the students from all over the Russia to leave their cities and to take off in the autumn over the Urals at their own expense? What made some of them to overcome a great distance, having spent several days in a berth? The project «Mediapoligon» by magazine «Russian Reporter» perfectly coped with this task!

On November 7 about a hundred students- journalists, linguists, and even physicists from Moscow, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk and other cities of our country gathered in Novosibirsk State University, as well as -journalists of the weekly «Russian Reporter», in particular, project managers, Vladimir Shpak and Gregory Tarasevich came here.

But the most important part was due to Friday, 11.11.11. This symbolical day was planned for the project «Novosibirsk 24″ which matter was to describe minutely one day of the life of one city. 6:00 on Saturday, November -12 the project was finished with -publication of the treatment of its head V. Shpak, called» Goodbye, Novosibirsk!»

Before this day (From Monday till Thursday ) a -half of the participants assisted -its preparation: arranging about -the presence of reporters ,finding out more details about the places, planning points. The preparations were headed by -Vladimir Shpak. The second half was engaging in scientific journalistic, preparing materials for the popular scientific magazine «100 hours about science.» After all, Novosibirsk is a city of scientists. This half was led by -Gregory Tarasevich.

Travelling in Russia, young people are pleased to spend time together.
