Art Education in the 21st Century

On the 26th-27th of March 2012 The Faculty of Design and Visual Arts held the 7th International Theoretical and Practical Conference “Art Education in 21st Century”.

Main aims of the conference:

  • Discussion between amateur researchers in sphere of culture and education and leading scientists
  • Informational exchange between representatives of scientific and educational institutions
  • Making contacts between amateur researchers
  • Consulting interested individuals

Leading professors of art education, painting and drawing departments, postgraduate students, undergraduates and students of the Art Education Department have exchanged their experiences and discussed following questions:

  • Academic and methodical problems of art education.
  • The problem of interdisciplinary in art education
  • Peculiarities of applied researches in art education
  • Art culture and art education
  • Personality and culture
  • The problem of dialogue between cultures
  • Culture, education and contemporary techniques.
