9 декабря 2011 года магистранты и -студенты факультета экологии и естественных наук во главе с заведующим кафедрой экологии и природопользования Ерошенко В.И. посетили -МВЦ «Крокус Экспо», где с 9 по 11 декабря проходила -Ярмарка молодежного событийного туризма, посвященная развитию молодежного туризма в России.

-В одном из выставочных павильонов площадью около 1000 м кв каждая местность, округ или край -могли продемонстрировать, что они могут предложить молодежи в области туризма, чем они знамениты. В рамках Ярмарки демонстрировались экспозиции, проводились конкурсы, -конференции. Конкурсы проводились в номинациях: «Культурные события», «Мероприятия исторической направленности», «Мероприятия связанные с народными традициями», «Молодежные субкультуры» и др. Нас больше всего интересовала номинация «Мероприятия в области экотуризма». Здесь были представлены интересные проекты «Экологическая тропа национального парка «Орловское Полесье»: роль молодежи в сохранении родной природы», «Этно–экологическое юрточное кочевье» и «Экологическая экспедиция, посвященная Всемирному дню окружающей среды».

Основной целью конференции, ставшей центральным событием Ярмарки, была выработка стратегии развития молодежного туризма в России. При этом упор делался на развитие въездного (в Россию) и внутреннего (в первую очередь между соседними регионами) туризма.

Представители МГГУ им. М.А. Шолохова приняли участие в работе круглого стола «Организационно-экономические основы развития молодежного туризма в стране и в регионах России». —

Студенты факультета экологии и естественных наук, только что вернувшиеся из экологического лагеря в Германии, в рамках круглого стола затронули вопрос студенческих обменов, которые дают шанс студентам посетить другую страну в образовательных целях, а также познакомиться с культурой и бытом страны, наладить международные связи. Такие обмены можно и нужно совершать и между российскими университетами, чтобы делиться опытом, путешествовать по России и узнавать новое в области своей профессии. —

Эти и некоторые другие предложения были обоснованы представителями МГГУ им. М.А. Шолохова для внесения в итоговый документ конференции.
