Admission procedure of international students at SMSUH

1. — Study the admission rules and prepare a set of documents.
2. Submit the documents.
3. Take entrance examinations (Unified State Examination or internal ones, according to the Admission Regulations. The selection committee is located at Tashkentskaya st.18, building 4, Moscow).
4. Submit the original document certifying the education of the holder (no matter what is the type of education: state-funded or contract-paid) and other necessary documents before the deadline established by the Admission Rules to the Selection Committee of SMSUH.
5. Attach a copy of a payment receipt to the personal record.
Submission:
1. — — — Nostrification or legalization of the foreign education certificate (if needed).
2. — — — Submission of documents and signing of a contact for educational services at the Department of International Relations — of the University. (Moscow, Verkhnyaya Radishchevskaya St., 16-18)
3. — — — Submission of documents to the Selection Committee (Moscow, Tashkentskaya st.18, building 4)

Before submission an international student signs up a contract with the Department of International Relations of — SMSUH for charges for educational services in accordance with the standard form.

— — — — Or the original foreign education certificate (or its notarized copy), which is recognized in the RF — as an equivalent one-
— — — — certificate of equivalence (if necessary) or original Diploma from a foreign country (if — necessary) and Diploma Supplements (if it is provided by the legal system of the native country)-
— — — — a proper notarized translated document confirming education of the international student with all attachments coming with it (if such service is provided by the legal system of the native country)-
— — — — a copy of the document proving the applicant’s identity or copy of the document providing the foreign citizen’s identity in the RF with its notarized translation (if needed)-
— — — — copies of the documents or other proof certifying the compatriot’s identity living abroad-
— — — — — a copy of a Russian visa if the applicant arrived in Russia with such a visa.
— — — — 10 black-and-white photos 3×4 cm.
All entrance examinations in general subjects as well as the Unified State Examination are held at the Selection Committee location: Moscow, Tashkentskaya st.18, building 4.
Creative entrance examinations to such faculties as Design, Culture and Music Arts, Fine and Visual arts are held at the building of the chosen faculty in accordance with the schedule.

Entering the University
— — — Entering the University for bachelor-level and master-level programs applicants should submit the documents for the personal record by the deadline established by the Admission Rules:
1. — — — Entering under the federal budget financial aid — the original document, certifying the education of the holder and 6 photos 3×4 cm.
2. — — — Entering under the contract — including the category of the students with one higher education:
— — — — On a credit basis – the original — education certificate and 6 photos 3×4 cm.-
— — — — On the audit basis – a copy of the education certificate and 6 photos 3×4 cm.

-1 DIC — examines legality of residency of international students in Russia and decides on the necessity of notification.
2 In case when the applicant’s education certificate doesn’t confirm the level which is necessary for entering the chosen educational program, the applicant will be rejected (or he/she will be expelled as the student at any stage of education if the equivalent certificate will be received after the entering order).
3 Entering — of the applicant under the contract will be possible only when they bring a copy of payment receipt to the Admission Committee in accordance with the contract.
